Job summary

DBM Global is hiring a Production Helper in Utah to assist in fabrication of structural metal products. You will lift and position workpieces, load materials, operate basic tools, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and likely 12 months of related experience; training on overhead cranes, forklifts, and grinders is used day-to-day. We support growth and offer health benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, and/or 12 months experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Pass the tacking test on Flat, Horizontal, Vertical and Overhead.

Responsibilities

• Lifts, positions, and removes workpieces from machines to assist in fitting and welding.
• Loads, stacks, and transports stock, tools, dies, and work in process by hand or truck.
• Cleans and scrapes metal preparatory to fabricating, welding, painting, or shipping.
• Picks up and trucks scrap from work areas.
• Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
• Perform other routine duties.
• Assist fellow employees as directed.
