Job summary

Lexicon is seeking a skilled Foreman to supervise a shift in our fabrication team, ensuring timely and safe completion of projects. This safety-sensitive role requires proactive leadership and strict adherence to safety and QA/QC standards.

The Foreman will coordinate welding and fitting tasks, prepare payroll reports, and uphold company safety policies while overseeing overtime and attendance. Current team members are prioritized in hiring decisions.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience as a craftsman or equivalent.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Good oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates a shift fabricating structural steel.
• Assists workers in welding, fitting, and related tasks.
• Prepares time sheets and work reports for payroll.
• Ensures adherence to safety programs, QA/QC, and OSHA.
• Maintains punctual attendance and overtime readiness.
