Qualifications

• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Field experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with concrete variables with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret various instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistics, and geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect work in progress to ensure workmanship conforms to specifications and fabrication schedules.
• Conduct fabrication activities within environmental rules and regulations.
• Document job delays, problems, and conflicts related to quality.
• Maintain quality and tolerances of machinery.
• Communicate with customers, employees, and managers in a timely and professional manner.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Maintain records and reports through company systems.
• Adhere to safety requirements and work overtime/weekends as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned.
