Job summary

America's Heartland Packing seeks a training-focused role to onboard new hires and retrain existing staff in designated areas. You will guide new employees, answer questions, and provide feedback to supervisors while coordinating daily stretches and safety practices.

Responsibilities include documenting training, enforcing policies, and meeting retention goals. The role emphasizes hands-on instruction, PPE usage, and continual improvement of training materials.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• 3–6 months prior training experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Desire, ability and potential to train and motivate employees to improve performance.
• Demonstrated knife experience (usage and sharpening).
• Knowledge of jobs in designated training area(s).

Responsibilities

• On-the-job training including side-by-side training for new hires.
• Retraining transferred employees in designated area(s).
• Maintain training records and required documentation.
• Provide feedback to appropriate supervisor.
• Coordinate and conduct daily stretches.
• Educate hires on reporting lost or damaged equipment and procedures.
• Demonstrate proper use of job equipment and PPE.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.
• Monitor new hires’ safety and workmanship.
• Attend meetings to identify training needs.
• Accountable for departmental retention goals.
