Job summary

Bestbath in Tennessee seeks a Fabrication Supervisor to lead daily fabrication activities on the production floor, ensuring safe, efficient operations and on-time delivery to customers. You will drive labor planning, quality, and continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Under the Operations Manager, you will own department KPIs, supervise teams, enforce standard work and Lean practices, and coach staff to improve quality, uptime, and throughput across manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or fabrication leadership experience required; prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of fabrication tools, equipment, and quality requirements with tolerance maintenance.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge: standard work, 5S, root cause problem solving, continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise fabrication employees and shift execution.
• Ensure safe, high-quality fabrication on schedule.
• Identify constraints, escalate concerns promptly.
• Enforce policies, drawings, specs, PPE, and procedures.
• Monitor waste, scrap, material usage, downtime; drive improvements.
• Own KPIs and drive safety, productivity, quality.
• Onboard, train, coach, and support performance reviews.
• Verify timecards and communicate expectations.
• Maintain knowledge of tools, measurement methods, 5S, safe handling.
• Apply Lean and problem-solving to improve flow.
• Communicate with production, scheduling, engineering, maintenance, materials.
