Job summary

Hose Master, LLC, a family-owned U.S. manufacturer based in Cleveland, OH, seeks a production worker to support the Made to Stock and Finishing PEI areas. You will help ensure products are manufactured, inspected, packaged and shipped per specifications, and that records meet customer and company standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting assemblies to prints, identifying leaks, using measuring tools, reading orders, and preparing shipments. Heavy lifting and 40-hour work weeks are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package assemblies for shipment.
• Enter shipments into courier software (UPS, FEDEX, DHL, USPS).
• Maintain inventory and ensure quality/accuracy.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and production standards.

Position Summary

To perform tasks in support of the Made to Stock and Finishing PEI area; and to assist in ensuring that the product is manufactured, inspected, packaged and shipped in accordance with established specifications. To ensure that Hose Master and customer standards are archived.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Inspect assemblies to prints / specifications


• Inspect hose and identify leaks


• Use all types of measuring equipment


• Read and understand prints, Sales Orders and Job Orders


• Testing assemblies – air and HMS (Helium Mass Spec)


• Buff and/or Paint


• Assemble swivels


• Cover Hoses


• Maintain inventory


• Tag assemblies


• Package assemblies


• Complete paper work for certifications


• Enter Sales Order shipments into courier software programs such as UPS, FEDEX, DHL, USPS, etc.


• Ready packages for shipment, attaching labels, certifications etc. as sales order requires.


• Knows and adheres to standards of quality and accuracy required


• Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Ability to understand and follow English instructions


• Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required


• Knowledge of hose and fittings


• Knowledge of using measuring instruments


• Ability to read and understand detailed work instructions and production documentation


• Basic Computer skills – ability to use office software and courier software such as but not limited to, UPS, FEDEX, DHL, USPS.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.


• Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.

• Must be able to bend, squat, stoop, twist and kneel.
