Hose Master LLC, a family-owned, USA-manufactured leader in metal hose and expansion joints, is seeking personnel to support the Made to Stock and Finishing PEI area. You will inspect, measure, test, and pack hoses and assemblies; ensure quality and shipment readiness; and maintain inventory with adherence to specifications.

The role requires reading prints and orders, basic computer skills, and a readiness to handle varied tasks in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
• Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of hose and fittings.
• Knowledge of using measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and understand detailed work instructions and production documentation.
• Basic Computer skills – ability to use office software and courier software such as UPS, FEDEX, DHL, USPS.

Responsabilités

• Inspect assemblies to prints / specifications.
• Inspect hose and identify leaks.
• Use all types of measuring equipment.
• Read and understand prints, Sales Orders and Job Orders.
• Testing assemblies – air and HMS (Helium Mass Spec).
• Buff and/or Paint.
• Assemble swivels.
• Cover Hoses.
• Maintain inventory.
• Tag assemblies.
• Package assemblies.
• Complete paper work for certifications.
• Enter Sales Order shipments into courier software programs such as UPS, FEDEX, DHL, USPS, etc.
• Ready packages for shipment, attaching labels, certifications etc. as sales order requires.
• Knows and adheres to standards of quality and accuracy required.
• Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

To perform tasks in support of the Made to Stock and Finishing PEI area; and to assist in ensuring that the product is manufactured, inspected, packaged and shipped in accordance with established specifications. To ensure that Hose Master and customer standards are archived.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Good hearing and vision for hose testing.
• Must be able to bend, squat, stoop, twist and kneel.
