Job summary

CMC provides opportunities across recycling centers, fabrication plants, manufacturing facilities, steel mills and offices. The team emphasizes safety, training, and advancement, with Day 1 benefits and competitive compensation.

You will train on applicable equipment, perform varied duties, load/unload materials, and maintain a clean work area while adhering to safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Willing to cross-train as required.
• Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies and regulations.
• Possess a strong work ethic and safe working habits.
• Ability to work as a team in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Operate fabrication machines safely and without supervision.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and read technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Attend training regarding applicable equipment.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
• Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition.
• Operate production machines per established procedures and guidelines.
• Participate in CMC Safety Programs and uphold safety culture.
• Crosstrain on multiple machines.
• Operate rebar fabrication equipment (shears, benders, cranes, forklift, threaders, forge, welders).
