Job summary

SPI in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Fabricator to operate band saws and related equipment to fabricate fiberglass, mineral wool, and other insulation materials. You will work safely in a fast-paced environment and contribute to meeting daily production targets.

Requirements include being at least 18, possessing a valid driver’s license if driving for work, the ability to obtain respirator certification, forklift certification, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Experience and/or training in a manufacturing/fabrication/warehouse environment (preferred).
• Able to be medically certified to wear respirator (if required).
• Forklift certified.
• Basic computer skills (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate a band saw and other saws to fabricate fiberglass, mineral wool, and insulation materials.
• Safely and efficiently operate appropriate equipment.
• Accurately measure material for efficiency.
• Maintain quality and housekeeping.
• Ensure production levels are met daily.
• Comply with all safety requirements.
• Perform other fabrication duties as assigned by supervisor.
