Job summary

SPI in Mobile, AL is hiring a Fabricator Machine Operator to safely operate band saws and other saw types to fabricate fiberglass and related insulation products. This full-time, on-site role requires you to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

You will measure material, maintain quality and housekeeping, follow safety requirements, and support production goals. Minimum age 18, valid driver's license if driving, and willingness to obtain respirator certification; forklift experience

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
• Experience and/or training in a manufacturing/fabrication/warehouse environment (preferred).
• Able to be medically certified to wear respirator (if required).

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate band saw and other types of saws to fabricate insulation.
• Accurately measure material for efficiency.
• Maintain quality and housekeeping.
• Ensure daily production levels are met.
• Comply with all safety requirements.
• Perform other fabrication duties as assigned by supervisor.
