Responsibilities

• Maintain steel inventory in an organized and efficient manner.
• Identify materials such as sheet, plate, channel, tube, and flat bar, including thickness, width, and gauge.
• Read and interpret basic measurements using a tape measure within 1/16-inch accuracy.
• Assist with loading and unloading material deliveries using a forklift.
• Put away materials and components for storage and use in production.
• Prepare and verify orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to safety and quality standards.
