Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, seeks a Fabrication Associate to join our precast manufacturing team. The facility is fully sheltered and indoors, offering a clear multi-stage career path with 100% on-the-job training.

No prior experience is required; we train you from day one. You will learn to read basic blueprints, lay out cages, operate automated equipment, and maintain a safe, clean workspace while meeting production schedules.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; we train you from day one.
• Ability to read basic blueprints or shop drawings.
• Strong reliability and a team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Learn structural designs, setup layouts, and assemble cages with tooling and jigs.
• Layout complex cage structures and operate radius and angle-bending machinery.
• Operate automated shear lines, measure, cut, and kit components for production.
• Place pre-cut steel into fabrication jigs for assembly.
• Use battery-operated tying tools to secure cages and maintain quality.
• Progressively learn to operate radius and angle benders and shear lines as training milestones are met.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe indoor shop environment; follow safety and production schedules.
