Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, is seeking a Fabrication Associate to join our advanced precast manufacturing team in a fully sheltered indoor facility. This role features a clear, multi‑stage career path with 100% fully paid on‑the‑job training and fast‑tracked progression for candidates who can read basic blueprints.

As you progress, you’ll learn to assemble reinforcement cages, operate automated tools, and follow safety guidelines and production schedules.

Qualifications

• Ability to read basic blueprints or bend sheets is highly desirable and will fast-track progression through training stages.
• No prior experience in construction, rebar, or manufacturing is required; we train you from day one.
• Strong reliability, consistency, and a team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to stand and lift up to 40 lbs in an indoor manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn structural designs, reading basic setup layouts, and assembling structural reinforcement cages using automated tying tools with precision jigs.
• Layout complex cage structures and operate radius and angle-bending power machinery.
• Operate automated shear line - measuring, cutting raw materials to exact length, and kit components for the production floor.
• Place pre-cut steel components into precision fabrication jigs for rapid assembly.
• Use lightweight, battery-operated automatic tying tools to secure structural cages consistently.
• Progressively learn to operate radius benders, angle benders, and automated shear lines as training milestones are met.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe indoor shop environment.
• Follow basic plant safety guidelines, quality inspection standards, and production schedules.

Job Summary

Job Requirements

• The ability to read basic blueprints, shop drawings, or bend sheets is highly desirable and will fast-track your progression through our training stages
• Strong reliability, consistency, and a team-oriented attitude
• Ability to handle standard indoor manufacturing tasks comfortably - standing, lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Compensation

• The hourly pay rate is $21-24/hr
