Job description

Requisition ID528478-Posted09/03/2026-Infrastructure Products Group-Oldcastle Infrastructure-Full Time-Production Workers

Oldcastle, a CRH company, is reinventing what's possible in building solutions. We are the leading provider of innovative outdoor living products and utility infrastructure solutions for the water, energy, and communications markets throughout North America. We're a trusted and strategic partner to engineers, contractors, distributors, specifiers, retailers, and homeowners alike as the manufacturer of precast concrete, polymer concrete, and plastic infrastructure products. Our portfolio of brands includes Oldcastle APG, Oldcastle Infrastructure, Belgard® hardscape, Echelon® Masonry, RDI® railing, Catalyst™ Fence Solutions, Sakrete® packaged concrete, Amerimix® mortar, Pebble Technology International® pool finishes, and Techniseal® sands and sealant technologies.

We are seeking a Fabrication Associate to join our advanced precast manufacturing team. Unlike grueling, traditional outdoor construction or field "rod-busting" roles, our facility is a fully sheltered, indoor environment. This position features a clear, multi-stage career path where you can build specialized manufacturing skills over time. We provide 100% fully paid on-the-job training. Candidates with basic blueprint or shop drawing reading skills are highly encouraged to apply and will be fast-tracked into advanced training stages with premium starting pay.

Job Responsibilities

  • Learn structural designs, reading basic setup layouts, and mastering the assembly of structural reinforcement cages using automated, battery-operated tying tools with precision jigs
  • Layout complex cage structures and operate radius and angle-bending power machinery
  • Operate automated shear line - measuring, cutting raw materials to exact length, and kitting components for the production floor
  • Place pre-cut steel components into precision fabrication jigs for rapid assembly
  • Use lightweight, battery-operated automatic tying tools to secure structural cages consistently
  • Progressively learn to operate radius benders, angle benders, and automated shear lines as training milestones are met
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe indoor shop environment
  • Follow basic plant safety guidelines, quality inspection standards, and production schedules

Job Requirements

  • No prior experience in construction, rebar, or manufacturing is required; we train you from day one
  • The ability to read basic blueprints, shop drawings, or bend sheets is highly desirable and will fast-track your progression through our training stages
  • Strong reliability, consistency, and a team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to handle standard indoor manufacturing tasks comfortably - standing, lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Compensation

  • The hourly pay rate is $21-24/hr
  • 401(k) plan / group retirement savings program
  • Short-term and long-term disability benefits
  • Life insurance
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Paid holidays
