Role Overview

The Fabrication Associate is responsible for creating finished products based on drawings and material cut lists provided by the Manufacturing Project Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Stack material together and verify layout accuracy based on drawing before finishing welds to create finished product.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and sketches, following instructions both verbal and written.
  • Measure with tape measure and gauges, identifying materials according to specifications.
  • Perform shop math, converting decimals to fractional equivalents and fractions to decimal equivalents.
  • Lay out, measure, and mark dimensions and reference lines on materials.
  • Set up and operate fabricating machines, using air and hand tools.
  • Inspect parts for accuracy and produce quality products consistently.
  • Take on additional projects assigned by supervisor.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or required.
Requirements
  • Education: GED – High School Diploma.
  • Technical knowledge of machinery, tools, gauging, and fabrication.
  • At least 1 year of fabrication experience.
  • Computer‑literate; proficient with MS Office 365.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem‑solving ability.
  • Effective written and verbal communication.
  • Proven experience with quality control analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of math and geometry.
  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment.
  • Detail‑oriented work style, able to juggle multiple priorities consistently.
  • Physical requirements: sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
  • Ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug test.
