Express Employment Professionals of Everett is seeking an experienced Operations Lead for a leading aerospace manufacturer. This senior role mentors technicians across multiple production areas, guiding safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Day shift starts at 7:00 AM; salary $25–$30 per hour DOE. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing, can read engineering drawings, and leads with strong communication and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience training, coaching, and supporting production employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, mentor, and support manufacturing technicians in daily production activities.

• Provide guidance and direction to employees to ensure quality and productivity standards are met.
• Assist with employee scheduling and work assignments.
• Coordinate production activities with other departments to meet customer deadlines.
• Perform final quality inspections before products move to the quality department.
• Interpret engineering drawings and assist team members in understanding specifications.
• Maintain organization of production materials, parts, tools, and hardware supplies.
• Audit work areas and enforce OSHA and company safety requirements.
• Ensure production parts are properly labeled and organized.
• Maintain clean, safe, and efficient work areas throughout the manufacturing floor.
• Operate and train employees on pneumatic tools, hand tools, measuring devices, and manufacturing equipment.
• Assist with work order management and production documentation.
• Lead team meetings and communicate production priorities effectively.
• Remain flexible and support various manufacturing departments as business needs require.

Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring an experienced Operations Lead for a leading aerospace manufacturing company. This senior-level, working lead position supports multiple manufacturing departments, including potting and bonding, electrical assembly, final assembly, and finishing. The Operations Lead serves as a mentor and technical resource for production employees while helping ensure quality, safety, and production goals are achieved.

Shift: Day shift 7:00 AM start

Qualifications

• Ability to demonstrate proficiency in multiple manufacturing disciplines including potting, bonding, electrical work, and finish assembly.
• Previous experience training, coaching, and supporting production employees.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience using measuring equipment such as tape measures and calipers.
• Strong working knowledge of safety procedures, MSDS, and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to self-inspect work and maintain high-quality standards.
• Experience using pneumatic and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while meeting production deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of leadership or lead experience.
• Experience as a manufacturing assembler, lead, or related manufacturing role.
