Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc Supply Chain is seeking a Fabric Receiving Clerk in Claremont, NC. The role supports our distribution operations by receiving, inspecting, and scanning fabric; unloading trucks; and keeping accurate records.

The position requires experience in receiving, familiarity with warehouse systems, and the ability to work on a fast-paced dock with safety and accuracy in mind.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in Receiving department.
• Knowledge of distribution computer systems (WMS & OMS).
• Computer and Microsoft Office experience.
• Standard warehouse operation experience.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to keep accurate records and follow documented procedures and standards.
• Forklift experience and certification.
• Good vision with or without corrective lenses.
• Good communication skills - oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Receive product and verify product from a packing list.
• Unload Vendor trucks and containers.
• Read and identify numbers on fabric rolls.
• Work with RF scanners to locate fabric.
• Perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to ensure delivery requirements.
• Teamwork is essential.
