Job summary

Milliken & Company is seeking a Re-inspector at the Valway Plant to re-grade fabric to specifications and identify off-quality characteristics. You will document findings and communicate with the shift supervisor to ensure product quality.

The role requires following safety rules, operating lab equipment, and coordinating with the Production team to manage off-quality materials and reports throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include certification to operate mobile equipment and ability to use a computer.
• GED or High School Diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all department safety rules.
• Check lab for inspection cards for printers blanket inspection and steamer/trimmer.
• Prepare reports for the shift supervisor.
• Perform range 6 panoptes.
• Obtain supplies for debatching/inspection.
• Run any off quality rolls as needed.
• Update off quality in MES for SIB, airbag and printers blanket.
• Lead when needed.
• Set up tables when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Production Manager and Supervisors.
