Job summary

Sew What Box is seeking a dependable, hands-on teammate for ongoing production work in Post Falls, ID. You’ll participate in cutting fabrics with a CO2 laser, printing fabrics, and assembling ready-to-sew project kits.

Training is provided, no sewing experience is required, and you’ll learn multiple production stages on the job. Expect a 32-hour schedule, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, with Wednesdays and weekends off, and starting pay of $19-20 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+.
• Comfortable with repetitive production tasks while maintaining quality and pace.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently after training.
• Able to learn computer software.
• Able to distinguish between colors.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Experience with printers or large machines preferred but not required.
• No sewing experience required; eager to learn production processes.

Responsibilities

• Cut fabrics with CO2 laser cutting machine wearing PPE.
• Print fabrics with industrial quilt cotton printers.
• Follow production schedules and meet deadlines.
• Maintain quality by spotting and removing flawed material.
• Stack, organize, and prepare fabric pieces efficiently while ensuring quality.
• Keep production areas and machines clean and organized.
• Assist with fabric folding, kit assembly, and subscription box prep.
• Learn general operation of heat press.
• Communicate when materials, equipment, or processes need attention.
