Job summary

VALDESE WEAVERS LLC is hiring a Finish Prep Material Handler to assemble and prepare fabric rolls for the finishing process in Valdese, NC. You will pull cloth per tickets, arrange orders, and ensure straight seams while preventing twisting, following ISO 9001 work instructions.

You'll operate and maintain equipment safely, keep the area clean, and report any malfunctions. Overtime may be required; forklift licensing is required for moving fabrics.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work instructions.
• Forklift license is required for moving buggies and lifting fabrics.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Sew rolls of fabric according to tickets and finalize finishing steps.
• Prepare cloths for the next process and move equipment as needed.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and report hazards.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ISO 9001 standards.
• Overtime as scheduled.
