Job summary

TravisMathew, LLC is seeking a Materials Developer to oversee fabric development for the brand. You will work closely with Design, Development and Material Sourcing to translate concepts into commercially viable materials that meet aesthetic, sourcing, and cost goals.

This role requires coordinating multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and traveling internationally. A bachelor's degree or technical training and at least 3 years in material sourcing and development are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or technical trade school and/or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in material sourcing and development.
• Ability to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Design, Merch, Development & Sourcing to develop in-season fabrics for Women's line.
• Actively participate in the fabric selection process.
• Manage multiple inline pillars & SMU; execute seasonal fabric developments into bulk-ready fabrics.
• Identify potential issues in manufacturing and mitigate risk.
• Track fabric submissions, developments, pricing, and approvals in PLM system.
• Maintain development files, reports, and seasonal recaps.
