Job summary

Intel Foundry Construction and Sourcing (FCS) in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Tool Equipment Install Technician on a contract basis. You will read architectural and engineering drawings, interpret specs, and install process tools as part of our project execution team.

You will apply lean principles, collaborate with suppliers and contractors, and uphold a strong safety culture across front-end planning, tool construction, and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 2+ years in semiconductor manufacturing or related technical field.
• 2+ years technical experience in semiconductor manufacturing, process tool install, equipment maintenance or military technical experience.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Blueprint Reading: interpret architectural and engineering drawings to ensure constructions meet specs.
• Mathematical Proficiency: accurate measurements to avoid errors and rework.
• Tool Handling: operate and maintain process tools safely and efficiently.
• Material Knowledge: recognize materials and properties for durability and standards.
• Problem Solving: devise quick, effective solutions on site.
• Project Management: plan, execute, and monitor multiple projects.
• Supplier Management: coordinate with suppliers and contractors to meet timelines.

Education

Associate's degree related to semiconductor manufacturing
