Job summary

JBS USA is seeking a QA floor monitor to ensure adherence to SOPs/SSOPs and GMPs, while performing HACCP procedures in a cold production environment. You will collaborate with USDA, review records for accuracy, and assist QA leadership in investigations.

The role focuses on monitoring meat product specifications, reporting deficiencies, and supporting production with corrective actions, with Monday–Friday shifts and occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and report deficiencies.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and work in cold environments.
• Reliable and detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work Monday–Friday with occasional weekends.
• Second shift from 3pm to 1am.

Monitor the implementation of food safety and quality procedures on the floor, report deficiencies and correct them. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor SOP's, SSOP's, and GMP compliance of associates, perform HACCP procedures to comply with federal regulations
• Work with USDA and present records to them at the agency's request
• Review records to ensure accuracy and be held accountable to their accuracy
• Aid QA supervisor and management in gathering data for investigations
• Work closely with production associates in monitoring meat product for specifications, and correcting specification deficiencies
• Assist in other duties as needed
