Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing is seeking a 1st Shift Fab Operator at the CE facility in Salina, KS. The role runs Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime on Fridays as needed.

Responsibilities include operating fabrication equipment, reading prints, and using measurement tools. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to OSHA regulations.

Great Plains Manufacturing is currently seeking a 1st Shift Fab Operator to join our team at the CE facility in Salina, KS.

This position works Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., plus overtime on Fridays, as required.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to run equipment throughout the fabrication department
• Ability to use and understand AS400
• Ability to read prints and be able to use tape measure, calipers, etc. as required
• Other duties as assigned
• Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed safety and protective equipment.
• Other Duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.

Preferred Skills and Requirements:

• Fabrication Operator experience in a manufacturing environment helpful
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understand team concepts and be a strong team player
