Job summary

The Griffin Museum of Science and Industry is seeking a Camp Associate to lead Fab Lab operations and design youth workshops, programs, and camps with our Education teams.

You will oversee Fab Lab studios, develop curriculum, supervise interns, ensure safety, and collaborate to create engaging experiences for families and students across the year in a dynamic, public-facing museum setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years related experience in youth or public program facilitation required.
Experience managing learning environments and coordinating before start of programs preferred.
Experience with 2D & 3D design software and technical instruction is a plus.

Responsibilities

Oversee general operation of the Fab Lab and Fab Lab Studios for Camps and Education programs.
Manage Camp programming for youth using the Fab Lab Make_X Grid System and Camps team coordination.
Ensure safe operation of all Fab Lab equipment and tools used in camp programming.
Create engaging experiences for camp participants using design-thinking and engineering principles.
Coordinate with Education staff to prepare programs and greet youth and families.
