Job summary

General Atomics Systems Integration, LLC (GA-SI) is seeking an Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic to provide flight line and ground support at San Angelo, TX. You will troubleshoot aircraft and engine systems, assist with training, and contribute to process development while ensuring compliance with procedures and DHS background checks.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and an FAA A&P license, with potential CONUS/OCONUS travel.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant License required.
  • May require travel to CONUS/OCONUS deployments.
  • Must possess knowledge of detailed job aspects and applicable procedures.
  • Proficiency with relevant computer applications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on airframe and powerplant.
  • Inspect powerplant and related components per procedures and technical orders.
  • Repair leaks and engine problems; remove/replace components as needed.
  • Review records to ensure proper documentation per procedures and orders.
  • Assist with ground operations, preflight checks, and training programs.
  • Maintain safe, productive working environment per SOPs.

Skills

Aircraft maintenance experience
Knowledge of computer applications
Teamwork / able to work independently

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
