Job summary

Thales Group in Boston Logan International Airport is seeking a Line Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance on Thales In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) systems at onsite locations in Suffolk County, MA and beyond.

You will diagnose, repair, and document maintenance tasks in compliance with FAA regulations, liaising with airline customers and Supervisors to ensure safety, reliability, and performance in a fast-paced airport environment.

Qualifications

Two years of aircraft maintenance technician school or equivalent.
FAA A&P certification required or able to meet 14 CFR 65.83.
FCC license preferred.
Strong avionics knowledge and ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
Ability to lift up to 50–80 pounds occasionally and operate ground support equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and system modifications on Thales IFE systems.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and operational impact.
Document airline logbook discrepancies and clear them in a timely manner.
Record maintenance activities daily and submit reports to the Supervisor of Maintenance.
Support airline customers while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Maintain FAA compliance and safety standards in a fast-paced airport environment.
