Job summary

Thales Avionics, Inc. (AGS) is seeking a Line Maintenance Technician in Suffolk County, MA (Boston Logan).

You will perform line maintenance, installation, and ground equipment maintenance on Thales IFE systems, adhering to FAA regulations and airline manuals in a fast-paced airport environment. You will troubleshoot and repair complex electronic systems, document all activities, and ensure safety, compliance, and high-quality service for customers.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P certificate with 14 CFR 65.83 recent experience per requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SIDA badge, background check, and drug test.
• Authorized to work in the United States with a valid driver license.
• Strong avionics/electronics knowledge; read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and communicate technically under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and system modifications on Thales IFE systems.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize aircraft downtime.
• Document airline logbook discrepancies for Thales systems and clear them timely.
• Record maintenance activities daily and report to Supervisor of Maintenance.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and quality during all maintenance work.
