Job summary

Contour Airlines in New Mexico is seeking a qualified Aircraft Maintenance Technician to perform routine and non-routine maintenance on our fleet in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards.

The role requires reading maintenance manuals, documenting procedures, and effective communication with team members and regulatory agencies. FAA A&P certification and at least 2 years of experience are preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must possess FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification.
• Ability to read and interpret FAA regulations and maintenance manuals.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance.
• Minimum of 2 years’ aircraft maintenance experience (commercial, regional, or equivalent).
• Stellar organizational and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and maintenance manuals to troubleshoot and complete work assignments.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections, maintenance, repairs, and alterations on aircraft per FAA standards.
• Inspect aircraft systems for leaks, wear, and irregularities.
• Document maintenance procedures and discrepancies in logs per FAA requirements.
• Run diagnostic tests and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and regulatory agencies.
