Job summary

Contour is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our FAA-regulated maintenance team at the Contour DFW region. The role focuses on routine and non-routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on Contour Airlines’ fleet, using manuals and official docs to ensure compliance and quality.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English fluently; read FAA regs and maintenance docs.

Responsibilities

• Read and utilize maintenance manuals, blueprints, and service bulletins to complete work.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft.
• Document maintenance procedures and discrepancies in logs per FAA requirements.
• Conduct diagnostics and implement corrective actions; operate tools safely.
• Coordinate with teammates, pilots, and supervisors to ensure timely return to service.
