Job summary

Contour Airlines seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to perform routine and non-routine maintenance on Contour’s fleet in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and company policies.

This role requires reading maintenance manuals, documenting work, and coordinating with pilots and staff to ensure safe return to service. Strong attention to detail, safety, and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of 9 months of prior airline or aviation industry experience is preferred.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification.
• Ability to read and interpret FAA regulations, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation in English.
• Minimum of 2 years’ aircraft maintenance experience.
• Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the country without restrictions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Read and apply maintenance manuals, blueprints, and service bulletins to troubleshoot tasks.
• Perform scheduled/unscheduled inspections, repairs, and alterations per FAA standards.
• Inspect aircraft systems for leaks, wear, and irregularities.
• Document all procedures and discrepancies in logs.
• Run tests, interpret results, and implement corrective actions.
• Operate power tools safely and coordinate with teams.
• Ensure FAA compliance in inspections and certifications.
