Job summary

Republic Airways in Philadelphia is seeking a qualified aircraft Mx Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, repairs and modifications on aircraft, components and related equipment in accordance with FAA, GMM, and manufacturer specifications.

The role requires an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license, prior A&P or airline maintenance experience, and ability to work in a team or independently, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent with an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
Previous experience as an A&P mechanic or airline experience.
Experience using a computer to look up information and input data.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance, repair, modifications and other maintenance on aircraft, components and related equipment per FAA and manufacturer specifications.
Troubleshoot aircraft systems and execute maintenance work orders.
Ensure calibration of tooling and serviceability of parts and materials.
Maintain a clean, safe working environment and document all work performed.
Complete maintenance records and entries in MEL/DMI as required.
Assist with training and shift turnover documentation.
