Job summary

Contour Airlines is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to perform routine and non-routine maintenance on our fleet. You will read maintenance manuals, troubleshoot issues, and ensure work complies with FAA regulations.

The role requires strong attention to detail, safe work practices, and effective communication with teams. The ideal candidate holds an FAA A&P certificate, has at least 2 years of maintenance experience, and is fluent in English.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification.
• Read and interpret FAA regulations, manuals and maintenance docs in English.
• Minimum 2 years aircraft maintenance experience (commercial/regional/military accepted).
• Authorized to work in the United States and travel without restrictions.
• English reading/writing/speaking; Spanish a plus.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Proficient with Office 365, Excel, Outlook and Word.

Responsibilities

• Read and utilize maintenance documents to troubleshoot and complete work assignments.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections, maintenance, repairs, and alterations per FAA and company standards.
• Inspect aircraft systems (hydraulic, de-icing, landing gear, etc.) for issues.
• Document maintenance procedures and discrepancies in logs per FAA requirements.
• Run diagnostic tests, interpret results and implement corrective actions.
• Safely operate power and hand tools.
• Ensure USCIS, DOT, and FAA compliance during inspections.
• Communicate with technicians, pilots, and staff to return aircraft to service safely.
• Promote workplace safety and report hazards.
