Job summary

Contour Airlines is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to perform routine and non-routine maintenance, inspections and repairs on our fleet in compliance with FAA regulations and company standards. You will read manuals, complete documentation, and coordinate with teams to ensure safe, timely aircraft return to service.

The role requires a strong attention to detail, technical expertise, and safety focus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Nine months (9) months of prior airline or aviation industry experience preferred.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years aircraft maintenance experience (commercial, regional, or equivalent military accepted).
• Ability to read and interpret FAA regulations, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation in English.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, ATA codes, illustrated parts catalogs, service bulletins and other maintenance documents to troubleshoot and complete work.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections, maintenance, repairs and alterations of aircraft in accordance with FAA, manufacturer and company standards.
• Inspect aircraft systems (hydraulic, de-icing, landing gear, etc.) for leaks, cracks, distortions, and other irregularities.
• Document maintenance procedures, discrepancies and corrective actions in logs and records in compliance with FAA and company requirements.
• Run diagnostic tests, interpret results and implement corrective actions as needed.
