Job summary

American Patrols, Inc. is seeking a FAA Certified Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Aircraft Mechanic to service our growing fleet of Cessna 172s.

You will perform inspections, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in-house, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and maintaining thorough maintenance logs. The role requires lifting 70 lbs, adaptability to outdoor and indoor work, and a willingness to relocate to Midland, TX.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Airframe and Powerplant FAA Certification/License.
• Must be able to lift and carry 70-lbs repeatedly; capable of bending, standing, kneeling, and climbing for extended periods.
• Airport environment with indoor and outdoor duties; willingness to relocate to Midland, TX.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on company aircraft, including inspections and repairs.
• Maintain logs and documentation in accordance with FAA requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and component servicing.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment and proper inventory control.
• Receive, refuel, park, and bed down aircraft as needed.
