Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Assembly Mechanic Level 2 FAA at our Phoenix, AZ site. You will assemble mechanical and electromechanical components, perform quality checks, and collaborate with engineering to resolve issues.

The role reports to the Production Supervisor and operates on 1st shift (0530-1400) on-site. The ideal candidate has proven mechanical assembly experience, the ability to read drawings, and familiarity with quality control processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mechanical assembly or related manufacturing roles.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and work instructions accurately.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic measurement instruments.
• Familiarity with quality control processes and the ability to identify defects or assembly issues.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components according to engineering specifications and work instructions.
• Perform quality checks and tests on assembled products to ensure compliance with standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve them.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment following company safety policies and procedures.
• Document assembly processes and report production data accurately.
