Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Assembly Mechanic Level 2 FAA to join our Phoenix, AZ team on a first shift (0530-1400). You will assemble mechanical and electromechanical components, conduct quality checks, and troubleshoot issues to ensure compliant products.

DOT/FAA safety requirements apply, including pre-employment drug testing. This on-site role emphasizes precision, tooling proficiency, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mechanical assembly or related manufacturing roles, preferably at a level 2 or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and work instructions accurately.
• Experience with quality control processes and the ability to identify defects or assembly issues.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic measurement instruments used in assembly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components according to engineering specifications and work instructions.
• Perform quality checks and tests on assembled products to ensure compliance with standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve them.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment following company safety policies and procedures.
• Document assembly processes and report production data accurately.
