Job summary

Egis Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead general aviation and non-hub airports projects, including FAA and state-funded programs. The role focuses on design, procurement, construction administration, and closeout within a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering with 5+ years of civil engineering experience and ideally a P.E. license or the ability to obtain one within the first year. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering.
• P.E. preferred or the ability to obtain a StateP.E. within the first year.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficient knowledge of general office equipment, MS Office, Faarfield.

Responsibilities

• Design experience on FAA and State DOT aviation projects within an assigned client base.
• Management of portions of a project: grant facilitation, design, bidding, construction administration, and close out to meet project goals on time and on budget.
• Compliance with objectives contained within the individual airport master plans, federal grant assurances requirements, FAA and state design standards, and a project scope of work.
• Knowledge and application of FAA Advisory Circulars for airport design and construction including runways, taxiways, aircraft parking aprons, grading/drainage, and pavement markings.
• Development of contract specifications and bid estimates.
• Coordination of engineering design staff and other disciplines to meet objectives.
• Accurate daily time keeping
