Job summary

Egis is seeking a Project Manager to lead civil aviation projects at airports in the United States, including FAA and State DOT programs. You will oversee design, bidding, construction administration, and closeout while ensuring compliance with master plans and federal requirements.

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate schedules and budgets, and maintain precise timekeeping to deliver on-time, on-budget results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• 8+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering
• P.E. preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficient knowledge of general office equipment, MS Office, Faarfield.

Responsibilities

• Design experience on FAA and State DOT aviation projects within an assigned client base.
• Manage portions of a project: grant facilitation, design, bidding, construction administration, and close out to meet project goals on time and on budget.
• Compliance with objectives contained within the individual airport master plans, federal grant assurances requirements, FAA and state design standards, and a project scope of work.
• Knowledge and application of FAA Advisory Circulars for airport design and construction including runways, taxiways, aircraft parking aprons, grading/drainage, and pavement markings.
• Development of contract specifications and bid estimates.
• Coordination of engineering design staff and other disciplines to meet objectives.
• Accurate daily time keeping
