Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering.
• P.E. preferred or the ability to obtain a State P.E. within the first year.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge of general office equipment, MS Office, Faarfield.

Responsibilities

• Design experience on FAA and State DOT aviation projects within an assigned client base.
• Manage portions of a project: grant facilitation, design, bidding, construction administration, and close out.
• Ensure compliance with airport master plans, federal grant requirements, FAA/state design standards, and scope.
• Apply FAA Advisory Circulars for airport design including runways, taxiways, parking aprons, drainage, markings.
• Develop contract specifications and bid estimates.
• Coordinate engineering design staff and other disciplines to meet objectives.
• Accurate daily time keeping.
