Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an Aircraft Structures Mechanic in Piney Flats, TN to install and repair aircraft structures, read drawings, and ensure structural integrity on world-class programs. The role offers a 4x10 schedule (6am–4:30pm) with pay from $35 to $40 per hour and opportunities to contribute to precision workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Install accessories and aftermarket kits.

• Fabricate mounting provisions for avionics installations.
• Read and interpret manufacturer drawings and work instructions.
• Measure, drill, and modify aircraft structures without damaging surrounding components.
• Accurately document completed work.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Install accessories and aftermarket kits.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an Aircraft Mechanic.
• FAA Airframe License required.
• Experience with aircraft structures, sheet metal repairs, and modifications.

Preferred Qualifications

• FAA Powerplant License.
• Experience supporting avionics installations.

Toolboxes must be shadowed and etched to aviation standards before arrival.

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
