Job summary

Training,-Rehabilitation- seeks an Aircraft Ground Support Attendant to service aircraft on the flight line, direct pilots, and load/unload baggage under contract requirements in Texas. The role includes operating ground support equipment, de-icing, and maintaining cleanliness of aircraft interiors and exteriors.

The position requires an FAA A&P license or DD214 with similar qualifications, a valid Texas Class B license with air brake end, and the ability to obtain US Secret Security Clearance.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P license or DD Form 214 with similar military qualifications
• Ability to operate a vehicle on the airfield
• Texas Class B driver license with air brake endorsement
• Must be able to obtain and maintain US Secret Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Serves aircraft, directing ground movements with signals
• Parks aircraft using blocks, ties, and chocks; secures position
• Replenishes fuel, oil, water, and waste system chemicals
• Maintains oxygen and hydraulic fluids; removes waste
• Documents maintenance records and service performed
• De-ices aircraft wings and assemblies
• Operates ground support equipment and engine starting units
• Loads/unloads luggage and cargo with tow truck and carts
• Cleans exterior or interior of aircraft; unloads/load equipment
• Traces lost luggage and prepares baggage claims
• Adheres to safety, quality and contract requirements
• Possesses required Security Clearance; follows OPS and safety SOPs
• Adheres to Property Control Plan for GFE
• Other tasks as directed by Project Manager/Supervisor
