Job summary

STS Line Maintenance in Austin, TX seeks a highly motivated Aircraft Maintenance Professional (A&P) to support our expanding line maintenance station. You will inspect, troubleshoot and repair airframes and engines on commercial aircraft, following FAA regulations and company standards.

Ideal candidates hold a current FAA A&P certification, with turbine experience a plus. Tools provided; travel not required. Must lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors as needed. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification (A&P).
• Strong troubleshooting and manual-reading ability for maintenance tasks.
• Good communication and customer-service orientation.
• Ability to work outdoors and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with turbine-powered aircraft is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work under Line Maintenance Station Manager and Leads.
• Ensure aircraft meet airworthiness standards and follow regulations.
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, adjust and repair aircraft airframes and engines.
• Replace defective components using manuals and schematics.
• Read precision measurements and work with tools.
• Perform duties in various weather conditions.
• Cover duties on Airbus, Boeing and other listed aircraft.
