Lincoln Tech in Parsippany-Troy Hills, New Jersey, seeks a FA Advisor- Advanced Packaging to manage the daily packaging of re-entry and program change students and to conduct re-entry financial aid appointments with students and families.

The ideal candidate will hold an associate degree or equivalent, have at least 3 years of Title IV experience, and possess extensive knowledge of Title IV programs, Lincoln’s offerings, and packaging requirements for re-entries and transfers.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years experience working with Title IV programs.
• Extensive knowledge in all areas of Title IV programs.
• Extensive knowledge of Lincoln school offerings (nonterm/clock hour calendars).
• Extensive knowledge of packaging requirements for re-entries, transfers and OAY.
• Experience with advanced financial aid concepts (re-entries/transfers).
• Must be eligible to obtain Federal Student Aid access (Common Origination and Disbursement, NSLDS).
• Proficiency in Word, TEAMS, Excel, Outlook and Campus Nexus.

• Package and collect documents to complete financial aid for re-entry students.
• Package and collect documents for students transferring programs within the school.
• Conduct telephone appointments with students and families for financial aid.
• Complete financial documents and update notes in FA system.
• Provide accurate information on eligibility for state/federal assistance or alternatives.
• Assist students with balance resolution options.
• Answer questions about Financial Aid professionally and accurately.
• Provide Life and Disability Insurance information.
• Explain 401(k) with Company Match and related benefits.
• Support paid time off and holiday policies as applicable.

Job Description

FA Advisor- Advanced Packaging performs the daily operation of packaging re-entry and program change students and conducts the re-entry financial aid appointments with students and families.

Requirements

• Associates degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Minimum of 3 years experience working with Title IV programs
• Extensive knowledge in all areas of Title IV programs
• Extensive knowledge of all program offerings at Lincoln schools (nonterm and/or clock hour academic calendars)
• Extensive knowledge of packaging requirements for subsequent academic years, crossovers, transfer students, re-entries, overlapping academic year (OAY)
• Experience with advanced financial aid concepts (re-entries and transfers)
• Must be eligible to obtain and retain Federal Student Aid access, specifically to Common Origination and Disbursement and NSLDS
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, TEAMS, Excel and Outlook, Campus Nexus software

Responsibilities

• Package and collect all necessary documentation to complete the financial aid process for students who are re-entering into their program after separation from the school
• Package and collect all necessary documentation to complete the financial aid process for students who are transferring programs within the school
• C onduct telephone appointments with students and families and provide assistance with the financial aid process
• Complet e all necessary financial documents and updating notes in the FA operating system
• Provide students with accurate information regarding their eligibility for state and/or federal assistance or alternative financing
• Assist students and families with determining options for balance resolution
• Answer questions regarding Financial Aid professionally, accurately and in a positive manner
