Job summary

Lincoln Tech is seeking an experienced Financial Aid Advisor for Advanced Packaging in Atlanta, GA. This role focuses on re-entry and transfer scenarios, guiding students and families through the financial aid process and ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of Title IV experience and strong knowledge of COD/Disbursement and NSLDS, with proficiency in Word, TEAMS, Excel, Outlook, and Campus Nexus.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum 3 years Title IV experience.
• Extensive Title IV program knowledge.
• Knowledge of Lincoln programs (nonterm/clock hour calendars).
• Knowledge of packaging requirements for next academic year, crossovers, transfers.
• Experience with advanced financial aid concepts (re-entries/transfers).
• Eligible for Federal Student Aid access (COD/Disbursement and NSLDS).
• Working knowledge of Word, TEAMS, Excel, Outlook, Campus Nexus.

Responsibilities

• Package and collect documentation to complete financial aid for re-entering students.
• Package and collect docs for transfer students within the school.
• Conduct telephone appointments with students and families for financial aid help.
• Complete financial documents and update notes in the FA system.
• Provide accurate information on eligibility for state/federal aid or alternate financing.
• Assist students with balance resolution options.
• Answer financial aid questions professionally and accurately.

Job Description

Lincoln Tech is looking for an experienced FA Advisor- Advanced Packaging to perform the daily operation of packaging re-entry and program change students and conducts the re-entry financial aid appointments with students and families.

Requirements

• Associates degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Minimum of 3 years experience working with Title IV programs
• Extensive knowledge in all areas of Title IV programs
• Extensive knowledge of all program offerings at Lincoln schools (nonterm and/or clock hour academic calendars)
• Extensive knowledge of packaging requirements for subsequent academic years, crossovers, transfer students, re-entries, overlapping academic year (OAY)
• Experience with advanced financial aid concepts (re-entries and transfers)
• Must be eligible to obtain and retain Federal Student Aid access, specifically to Common Origination and Disbursement and NSLDS
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, TEAMS, Excel and Outlook, Campus Nexus software

Responsibilities

• Package and collect all necessary documentation to complete the financial aid process for students who are re-entering into their program after separation from the school
• Package and collect all necessary documentation to complete the financial aid process for students who are transferring programs within the school
• C onduct telephone appointments with students and families and provide assistance with the financial aid process
• Complet e all necessary financial documents and updating notes in the FA operating system
• Provide students with accurate information regarding their eligibility for state and/or federal assistance or alternative financing
• Assist students and families with determining options for balance resolution
• Answer questions regarding Financial Aid professionally, accurately and in a positive manner
