Job summary

Venatôre is seeking an experienced F5 Administrator to support USCENTCOM on the CITS contract. The F5 Administrator will configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot F5 BIG-IP systems to ensure availability, security, reliability, and performance of critical applications and services.

This hands-on technical role works with network, systems, security, and IT teams to integrate F5 solutions across the broader infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP systems.
• Experience configuring for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, and SSL/TLS.
• Experience developing F5 iRules and traffic policies.
• Experience with Azure DevOps boards and Agile tooling in DoD environments.
• Excellent technical documentation skills and change-management practices.
• DoD 8140/8570 certification such as Security+.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and maintain F5 BIG-IP systems including load balancers and ADCs.
• Design and implement traffic management (GSLB/LSLB) and SSL offloading.
• Manage SSL/TLS certificates and F5 iRules for traffic control.
• Assist with F5 upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting to ensure system functionality.
• Support new F5 solutions for improved delivery, security, and availability.
• Use Azure DevOps to track tasks, backlogs, and customer requests.
• Collaborate with network, systems, and security teams to integrate F5 across infrastructure.
