Job summary

V2X, Inc. in Ridgecrest, CA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily T&E aircraft and equipment maintenance within a U.S. Navy contract.

You will plan, direct, and administer maintenance operations, assign responsibilities, and ensure compliance with contract requirements and safety standards. Qualifications include a BA/BS in engineering, logistics, or related fields with Navy experience, or an AA/AS with 6+ years, plus 10 years in aircraft maintenance with 8 in supervisory

Qualifications

• BA/BS in engineering, business, logistics, management, math, sciences, or professional aeronautics with Navy experience (3+ years).
• AA/AS with 6+ years Navy experience or high school with 8+ years Navy experience.
• Extensive background in aircraft maintenance with 10 years total, 8 of last 10 in direct maintenance, repair, inspection, or modification, supervisory role.
• F-18 experience required.
• Experience supervising daily flight operations personnel.
• Proficiency with standard software and office tools.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Available to work any shift.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily supervision of all maintenance activities for aircraft and equipment.
• Plan, coordinate, and regulate maintenance operations per policy and contract.
• Assign responsibilities and ensure compliance and full staffing.

Responsibilities

The maintenance supervisor provides daily supervision and oversight of all T&E functional and operational activities in maintenance of aircraft and equipment at the assigned squadron, facility, task level. Plans, coordinates, administers and regulates the operations of the maintenance departments per policy and instruction. Defines and assigns responsibilities, functions, and operations and ensures full and effective employment and compliance of assigned personnel. Implements policies, practices, and generates revisions to existing policies and practices as required to meet company and contract requirements. Recognizes, communicates and pursues changes in contract scope and/ or workload requirements. Communicates directly with the Government authorities and contractor management and contractor personnel to define and execute requirements. May include production reports, consumption of material, quality control, and other aspects of production. Task may include writing production reports, maintaining files, compiling production sheets, preparing written work schedules, compiling material inventory records and preparing requisitions. May compute wages from employee time cards and post wage data on records for payroll.

Qualifications

• BA/BS from an accredited college or university in one of the following disciplines: engineering, business, logistics, management, math, sciences, and professional aeronautics with 3 plus years in the performance and execution of U.S. Navy requirements or, AA/AS from an accredited college or university with 6 plus years in the performance and execution of U.S. Navy requirements or, High school graduate or equivalent. With 8 plus years in the performance and execution of U.S. Navy requirements.
• Possess an extensive background in the field of aircraft maintenance and material support with a minimum of 10 years of experience with 8 years of the last 10 years in direct aircraft maintenance repair, inspection, and modification in a supervisory role.
• Relevant experience on the F-18 is required.
• Must have experience supervising daily flight operations personnel supporting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Proficiency in the use of the Internet, personal computers, word processing, spreadsheet and graphics/presentation software, and other commonly used electronic communication tools.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security Clearance.
• Must be available to work any shift.

Salary $115,000 to $120,000 Annually - $5000 Sign on Bonus for External Candidates
