Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Logistics Solutions Specialist to provide end-to-end support for F135 fleet sustainment, from stock transfer orders through delivery and receipt of material.

This onsite role requires coordination with the Joint Deployment Distribution Enterprise and internal/external customers to develop efficient transportation lanes for engines, modules, LRCs, and other material for U.S., partner nations, and foreign military entities.

Qualifications

• BS/BA with 5 years aerospace/defense supply support experience, or an Advanced degree with 3 years aerospace/defense supply experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Complete transportation related transactions in SAP for customer orders.
• Coordinate and maintain a working relationship with the Joint Deployment Distribution Enterprise (DLA/USTC) to ensure smooth deliveries.
• Coordinate with internal and external customers for logistics solutions to support F135 sustainment activity in a global environment.
• Identify, monitor, and improve transportation related processes.
• Setup plants within SAP for new sites coming online.
• Monitor performance and metrics of transportation related activity.
