Job summary

Tempo by Hilton San Diego Del Mar is hiring an F&B Server to support the opening team. You will prepare beverages, serve food, and help maintain brand standards during daily operations and banquets.

Join a growing team while upholding sanitation, courteous service, and professional conduct. Prior food & beverage experience is preferred; flexible shifts including evenings and weekends are common in this role.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 20 lb.
• Food Handlers Card required.
• Willing to work varying shifts including evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Previous food and beverage experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report to the F&B Manager or shift supervisor at start of shift.
• Complete duties assigned by F&B Manager.
• Assist in checking food quality and taste.
• Check staffing levels and inform of any callouts or changes.
• Check warewashing temperatures and chemical levels.
• Set up dishes and silverware for service.
• Ensure POS equipment functions and supplies are stocked.

Job Summary

The F&B Server is to prepare alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages, Specialty coffees and serve/prepare food in accordance within the brand's quality and control standards. To assist in the overall duties of the daily operation of the F&B department including meeting banquets to efficiently serve all hotel patrons in a courteous and professional manner. To maintain proper sanitation at all times as per local health department regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Report to the F&B Manager or the shift supervisor at the beginning of your shift.
• Complete duties as assigned by the F&B Manager.
• Assist the F&B Manager and/or shift supervisor in checking for proper food and taste.
• Check staffing levels. Inform appropriate staff members of any call outs and notify of any changes. Consult with the F&B Manager or supervisor if reinforcements need to be called.
• Check warewashing machine for proper temperature and chemical level.
• Make sure appropriate dishes and silverware are set up nearby for easy access during your shift.
• Ensure the POS equipment is in correct functioning order and all supplies are stocked and available.

• Food Handlers Card Required
• Be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and weekends
• Previous food and beverage experience
