Job summary

Tempo by Hilton Del Mar is seeking an enthusiastic F&B Server to prepare beverages and serve food, in line with brand standards. You will support the daily F&B operations and assist in banquets to serve hotel patrons courteously and professionally.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for 8 hours, lift up to 20 lbs.
• Food Handlers Card required.
• Be willing and able to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Previous food and beverage experience.

Responsibilities

• Report to the F&B Manager or shift supervisor at the beginning of your shift.
• Complete duties as assigned by the F&B Manager.
• Assist the F&B Manager and/or shift supervisor in checking for proper food and taste.
• Check staffing levels. Inform appropriate staff members of any call outs and notify of any changes.
• Check warewashing machine for proper temperature and chemical level.
• Make sure appropriate dishes and silverware are set up nearby for easy access during your shift.
• Ensure the POS equipment is in correct functioning order and all supplies are stocked and available.

Job Summary

The F&B Server is to prepare alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages, Specialty coffees and serve/prepare food in accordance within the brand's quality and control standards. To assist in the overall duties of the daily operation of the F&B department including meeting banquets to efficiently serve all hotel patrons in a courteous and professional manner. To maintain proper sanitation at all times as per local health department regulations and guidelines.
